FibreMax® Series

Benefits and Uses

As the amount of recycled paperboard in corrugated boxes has increased, medium enhancement has become more and more important. FibreMax® is a water-based fiber treatment that increases the strength of paper and corrugated containers without sacrificing repulpability. FibreMax® reduces the energy, handling and maintenance costs associated with corrugated, and eliminates the need for retailers to separate waxed and unwaxed boxes.

  • Increases stacking strength under humid conditions
  • Water resistant
  • Does not migrate to the doubleback liner, avoiding unsightly stains and printing problems
  • Eliminates the in-plant safety issues of hot wax
  • Enhances the strength of lower-quality fiber, or can be used for basis weight reduction

FibreMax® is used as a WIM replacement on corrugated containers for both perishable and non-perishable products.
