Combining high adhesion with low melt points, Michem® Prime dispersions add value in dozens of industries
Michem® Prime ethylene-acrylic acid co-polymer dispersions deliver the flexibility, water/chemical resistance and barrier properties of polyethylene in a water-based form. The resulting products have several characteristics superior to polyethylene, including:

Michelman chemists have years of experience optimizing various grades of Michem® Prime to produce desired results. Two of our most versatile formulations are:
- Michem® Prime 4983R, designed for high adhesion at low temperature heat sealing. This product has excellent freeze/thaw stability and is easy to formulate.
- Michem® Prime 2960, a tough, higher melting point composition with a harder, block-resistant surface.
