Choosing the Right Product
- RustBan® 105 is effective in preventing corrosion on ferrous metals
- RustBan® 250 is recommended for non-ferrous metals such as tin, copper, zinc or brass. It is also the preferred treatment for ferrous iron packaging.
For maximum effectiveness, treated paper should be stretch-wrapped after the application of RustBan®. The package should enclose the packaged article(s) on all six sides. Direct contact with the treated surface is not necessary.
RustBan® 105: RustBan® 105 is a Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor for corugated, solid fiber and other forms of paper board packaging to protect ferrous metals. This product is both hot melt and cold set gluable.
RustBan® 250: RustBan® 250 is a Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor for the protection of ferrous and nonferous metals. This product can be applied to corrugated, solid fiber and other forms of paperboard packaging. RustBan® 250 is both hot melt and cold set gluable.
